Posting every day for this short 11-day Spring Meet from the Big A. Should be able to finish in the black thanks to Mr. Pletcher. That's a big deal for me as I tend to shy away from favorites and they seem to be winning almost every race. Just checked - chalk has won 21 of 27 races!
R2 - #4 Full of Fire ($6 WP) Ran her best race to date under Franco in comebacker off short layoff. Now back at same level and should benefit from suspected speed duel between the two outside fillies.
R5 - #8 Cobble Hill ($6 WP) Making third start off the bench and has back-class which matches up well against this field. First go on a fast track since move to RR's barn so I expect a wake-up call.
R6 - #5 Aristocratic ($4 WP) Taking a shot here with a 30-1 ML gelding that will likely try to run away and hide. I love the switch from Maragh to the bug boy - 7 pounds is nothing to sneeze at.
R7 - #5 Signify ($4 WP) Another long shot try with a filly who should LOVE the grass and, if in shape, could wire this field at double digits.
